dentsu starts a new partnership with SEB Bank across the Baltics

By the end of 2025, dentsu will become SEB Bank’s media partner for the marketing and communications team across all three Baltic countries. An outstanding media strategy and seamless collaboration throughout the Baltics enabled dentsu to win SEB’s public procurement for media agencies.

Earlier this year, SEB Bank launched a public tender to find the right partner in Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania. The goal was to identify an agency capable of overseeing the strategic landscape in marketing communications and media, while also responding quickly to daily tactical needs and ensuring strong representation in all three countries.

SEB Baltic Brand Manager Eha Talvista-Reinsalu explains: “To stay fully informed about the services and quality available in the market, the bank periodically organizes new tenders. That was one of the reasons why we announced the media agency competition this spring.”

The competition lasted six months, initially involving six agency teams, with three teams reaching the final stage.

SEB’s Head of Marketing and Communications, Diāna Blumate, added: “After reviewing several strong proposals, we selected the partner best suited to SEB’s needs. In addition, the tender process gave us a comprehensive view of current trends in marketing communications and media, which enriches SEB’s marketing team’s knowledge and experience. dentsu stood out among other agencies with excellent collaboration across the Baltics, a strong strategic approach, and innovative ideas.”

According to Linda Saulīte-Subatniece, CEO of dentsu Latvia: “The tender was skillfully prepared and executed, reflecting SEB’s marketing team’s professionalism and needs. During the process, it became clear that we share common values and a strong motivation to achieve the best possible results. We have all the prerequisites for an outstanding and effective partnership.”

The agreement between SEB and dentsu’s Baltic entities has been signed, and active cooperation will begin in early 2026.

Eha Talvista-Reinsalu concluded: “On behalf of all our teams, I would like to thank all the agencies that participated in the three stages of the tender. It was a competition at a very high level, showing that there are several agency groups capable of effectively serving clients not only in their own country but across the Baltics. I thank our long-standing partner and look forward to our shared journey of collaboration and growth with dentsu.”
